The VUMC Pulse Survey ends Jan. 19, but there is still time for you to make your voice heard.

The VUMC Pulse Survey begins today and is open through Jan. 19. Today, you will receive a personalized email with a unique link inviting you to participate in the Pulse Survey.

Open, honest and transparent communication is a key ingredient in making our workplace even better.The 2025 VUMC Pulse Survey, which takes place Jan. 7-19, is a quick check-in with employees, providing leaders with a snapshot of their team's engagement, well-being and inclusion.  The Environmental Services team uses survey results to talk about what's going well and what they could do better.

For Jennifer Smith, administrative officer, and Morgan Heckman, lead program manager, of the Vanderbilt Institute for Clinical and Translational Research (VICTR), creating an environment that promotes engagement is a challenge they embrace with enthusiasm. Their commitment to fostering connection among team members and promoting a positive work culture is evident in every step they take.

In a few weeks, you will be asked to participate in the VUMC Pulse Survey. This survey is much shorter with only 9 questions and is a quick check-in to give leaders a snapshot of employees’ feelings of engagement, well-being and inclusion. The survey will take place Jan. 7-19, 2025.
