Confirm your mailing address in Workday by Jan. 8 to ensure timely delivery of 2024 W-2

It’s that time of year again — W-2 forms for 2024 will be sent out at the end of January 2025. 2024 W-2 forms will be mailed to current employees and former employees who earned money from VUMC during the 2024 calendar year. This form contains important information about your income, taxes withheld from your paychecks, and some benefits that you will need to complete your 2024 income tax returns.

Please be aware of some key payroll deadlines to help ensure that your employee’s tax record is accurate for tax year 2024.This information will help you take the proper steps to make sure you meet the submission deadlines on the following items:

Take note of January holiday payroll processing deadlines

Due to the observance of the the New Year's Day holiday on Wednesday, Jan. 1, the normal due dates for submitting hourly payroll information have been adjusted.  Please note the changes below to ensure your staff members are paid accurately and timely on the Friday, Jan. 3 payday.  Kronos Deadlines:Employee timesheet corrections/approvals MUST BE COMPLETED BY 9 AM ON MONDAY, DEC. 30.

New VUMC Health Plan ID cards arriving soon

In a few days, VUMC health plan members will receive new benefits ID cards from Meritain. This ID card is valid beginning Jan. 1, 2025. Please continue to use your current Aetna ID card until Dec. 31, 2024. As a reminder, your new Meritain ID card doubles as your Navitus pharmacy benefit ID card. To ensure a smooth transition and to avoid any gaps in your medical and pharmacy coverage, we recommend you do the following:
