55 Years of Dedication to People: Freddie Easley

Ten days before Apollo 11 landed on the moon, a young man from Brownsville, Tennessee, began what would become a lifelong career at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Freddie Easley started in July 1969, working as a housekeeper at the original Medical Center North. Over the following 55 years, Easley witnessed incredible changes, from the campus itself growing to encompass many new buildings to the technology used by his department changing from completely manual to incorporating robots. Through it all, he remained dedicated to his work and the people around him.

Since starting her career, Beverly has made a lasting impact across various departments, and her story is one of growth, mentorship, and personal achievement.
