Nominations are open for the 2024 VUMC Administrative Professionals Award. The award is presented each year typically during national Administrative Professionals Week and highlights the contribution of the Medical Center’s administrative professionals.

This year, Vanderbilt University Medical Center will upgrade all AEDs, beginning with the public access AEDs located on the 21st Avenue Campus footprint. The remaining AEDs will be upgraded in quarterly phases with all AEDs included by the end of the first quarter of 2025 or sooner.

Vanderbilt Medical Center has completed and submitted the Form 5500 in compliance under Title I and Title IV of the ERISA and under the Internal Revenue Code for all self-funded benefit plans offered at VUMC.     Employees can review the Summary Annual Reports (SAR) that provide a summary of the financial information contained on the Form 5500 and a statement of the right to receive an annual report. This summer, VUMC will host summer internship programs for veterans and high school students. The Hiring Heroes, Veterans Fellowship Internship program allows veterans to gain industry-specific skills, professional networks, and potentially secure post-service employment. It provides an opportunity for military personnel to explore different industries, enhancing their job readiness.
