The MyHealth Bundles program continues in 2025 with streamlined, convenient care that leads to improved outcomes and saves employees money. VUMC employees and their dependents* enrolled in the VUMC health plans are eligible to participate in the bundles program.

Open Enrollment is your annual opportunity to choose the benefits that best serve you and your family. But there may come a time when you need to change your health benefits plans outside of the annual Open Enrollment period due to a change in your personal or work life. If so, you can declare a life event. 

Naming a beneficiary is a crucial step for ensuring that your loved ones don’t suffer undue stress when you’ve no longer around. It’s a small effort that can make a big difference in their lives, and it only takes a few minutes of your time.

Open Enrollment for 2025 benefits begins Oct. 17 and ends Oct. 31. Open Enrollment is your chance to review and update your benefits, including health, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, accidental death and dismemberment, and flexible spending accounts. The benefits you choose will take effect on Jan. 1, 2025, and last until Dec. 31, 2025. 

In September, the fiscal year 2025 performance management cycle kicks off with goal setting starting on Sept. 9 and closing on Sept. 30. This year, we will once again track our goals in Workday.

For this year’s Open Enrollment — which takes place Oct. 17-31 — there is good news to share with you. The details of the health care benefits plans — including networks, coverage, and copays — will remain the same as we transition to a new administrator of the VUMC health plan. For the 2025 plan year, our health plan will be administered by Meritain Health, a subsidiary of Aetna. Below are five things to know about our switch to Meritain.
