Beginning on Sept. 1, 2024, there will be a change in the lactation room scheduling that will make it easier for nursing mothers to access our facilities. As you know, VUMC is committed to supporting nursing mothers, and we have established several lactation rooms across our facilities that are available for use.

Recently, we’ve seen an uptick in phishing and spam marketing emails about retirement planning coming to employees’ vumc.org email addresses. One such email is from State Pension Advisors and invites employees to schedule an appointment to discuss a pension program. Please be aware that neither this email nor the sender is representative of Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC).  Nor does the organization have a pension program. This email is a spam marketing attempt. 

As we approach the end of fiscal year 2024, there are a few important dates you should know about related to flexPTO. Managing your flexPTO balances effectively before the end of the fiscal year can not only contributes to your well-being and job satisfaction, but it also aids in the overall productivity and efficiency of your team.
