It’s done through Workday, which is a streamlined and efficient way for employees and managers to provide feedback and assess performance. Nurses must do a self-evaluation, but other managers can choose if their staff members need to do one.This article provides a high-level overview of the annual evaluation process in Workday and aims to help staff understand the steps involved. Changes to lactation room scheduling beginning Sept. 1

Beginning on Sept. 1, 2024, there will be a change in the lactation room scheduling that will make it easier for nursing mothers to access our facilities. As you know, VUMC is committed to supporting nursing mothers, and we have established several lactation rooms across our facilities that are available for use.

Beware of phishing emails about retirement

Recently, we’ve seen an uptick in phishing and spam marketing emails about retirement planning coming to employees’ vumc.org email addresses. One such email is from State Pension Advisors and invites employees to schedule an appointment to discuss a pension program. Please be aware that neither this email nor the sender is representative of Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC).  Nor does the organization have a pension program. This email is a spam marketing attempt.
